Participants will take classes in language, culture, politics, business and history at Beijing University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and The University of Hong Kong.

Beijing University (commonly called Bei Da), established in 1898, is by far the most well respected and prestegious university in China. The University has 14 colleges and 17 departments with 86 undergraduate programs. There are 13,164 undergraduates, and an additional 10,000 or so graduate and doctoral students.

Shanghai Jiaotong is another of China's Key Universities, directly under the State Education Ministry. It has a history dating back to 1896, and is the alma mater of such distinguished graduates as Jiang Ze Ming, current premier of China. The park like campus is situated in the heart of Shanghai with convenient access to shopping, restaurants and the subway. With a total enrollment of 14,000 students and 200 international students, this is one of Shanghai's two most respected universities.

The University of Hong Kong is the oldest tertiary education institution in Hong Kong. Its roots go back to 1887 when the College of Medicine was established. In 1911 the University of Hong Kong was formally founded. The University serves the needs of Hong Kong and mainland China by drawing on the great cultural traditions of China and the West. The University has a student population of about 14,000 and over 900 academic staff. It is one of the top Asia universities in the region and is held in high academic regard and maintains an international reputation for excellence in a wide range of areas.
